Dr. Pau Morales-Fusco is a MSc Civil Engineer and PhD Nautical Science Engineer from UPC-BarcelonaTech. He currently is a Senior Researcher at CENIT developing consultancy and research projects for private companies and the public administration at both national and international and has also worked as Associate Professor at the Transport and Infrastructure Department from UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).
He was an exchange student at the Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2003-2004 and visiting researcher at the department of Industrial Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore in 2015.
He joined CENIT in 2007 after several University-Company programs. His areas of expertise are mainly related to port terminals and maritime logistics in terms of short sea shipping, port capacity operations and optimization. As a researcher he has produced multiple contributions in conferences and congresses and has several papers published in indexed journals.
